Sunbeam – Mini Statue
| On January 24th, 2019, I was informed that Sunbeam, my friend, guild master, and main dungeon healer of over 10 years, had passed away from lung cancer. I can still remember the night we met online. It was the launch event for Wrath of the Lich King. I was wandering around Stormwind on my main human Paladin character and was spotted by Sunbeam’s sister Kryslyn who invited me to the their guild and introduced me to Sunbeam and others. Both Kryslyn and Sunbeam were some of the nicest people I had met in World of Warcraft. Little did I know that night would change the next decade of my life. I spent many nights fighting the dark forces of Azeroth with my trusty Holy Priest by my side. As a tribute to her memory, I decided to make my next LEGO mini statue of her main Warcraft character. | ||

| I decided to use the costume and weapons she was wearing when she logged out of Warcraft for the last time. I grabbed screenshots/information off the Warcraft Armory about her character and the gear she was wearing. | ||

| When Sunbeam last logged off, she was wearing gear and weapons from the Battle From Azeroth expansion. Her mace was from the 7th Legion gear and her off hand appears to be Kul Tiran. | ||

| The shoulders her character was wearing had runes along the edge. Instead of trying to replicate these runes, I instead wrote her character name and the guild name in a font that looks like runes. I still think about Sunbeam each time I log into Warcraft. I miss her. |
